Hi from NH.... the info on Priscilla Miltimore came from Howard Parker Moore's book on the Patten familites of Maine and NH...
Priscilla Miltimore was married to Samuel Patten who bought land in Deering, NH in 1768...He went back to Ireland and brought his wife and son, Jonathan who was about 8 yrs. old... In Jonathan's pension record for the Rev. War, he gives his place of birth as Limavady, Newtown, Londonderry, Ireland... 1760. HP Moore goes on to say he doesn't know what relation Priscilla is to James Miltimore and Elizabeth Aiken of Londonderry, but she MAY have been a sister. James' children at given as Capt. John, Col. Daniel, Rev. James and William the tailor. It mentions the Miltimore chart... I asked for this at the Historical Society, but they have no record of it...Priscilla Miltimore claimed descent from the Earls of Argyle ...this I believe is a reference to Scotland. I hope this helps... I also learned, today, that many Miltimore's moved to Antrim, NH.... Ruth
