Adam MINARD- Born in 1818, Some descendent census records refer to Adam being from Pennsylvania. My efforts are to resolve this detail. He married a Sarah RILEY in 1848, fresh from Ireland it is said.

Their first four children (George, James, Mary Jane & William) were all born in Canada (1848-1856). I have Kincardine, Bruce County, Ontario given to me as a placename but I have checked it to no avail.

Their 5th thru 8 child were born in Michigan, starting in 1858.
My clues to Adam's NY or PA origins, must lie in Canada.
