St. Charles (Illinois) Chronicle, 10 May 1928

Mr. and Mrs. George Minard moved Tuesday from their home at Third Avenue and Main Street to their new bungalow on Third Avenue. Their old home, built in 1836, will be replaced by a filling station. The house was built in 1836 by Ira Minard, father of George Minard, who was born and married there. The house was constructed of black walnut and butternut.

I am not related to nor researching this family and have no further information.
