A James Minard was baptized in New London, CT in 1729 a descendant of William1 Maynard/Minard from England. James Rogers' family of New London founded the Rogerene Quakers so-called. They were not true Quakers but if your James Minard belonged to the Rogerenes he may have switched to the Quakers in NY. Regards, Virgil Huntley
