Sandy,

I am the great-great-great grandson of David Minard born 1792 in New York and died 18 Feb 1865 Sparta, Elgin, Ontario Canada. His parents are possibly James and Abigail Minard. He was a Quaker who moved from Ulster County to Sparta with his brother Job and Samuel. There is also an Abigail Minard Mills who also came from New York with her husband. Her son John Mills married David Minard's sister-in-law. Nancy Minard Dunn David's daughter did live in Illinois for a short while but moved to Iowa.

What is your David Minard's line and is he a Quaker?

Scott Rowley
