Robert P. Minnick was born, 11 Apr 1879, son of Andrew J. Minnick, and grandson of Leander Minnick. Robert attended Kings' College, Bristol, TN, Tennessee Medical College, Knoxville, TN, and graduated from the Virginia Medical College, Richmond, VA, in Apr 1904.He set up a practice in Stonega, VA, a mining community, and in Nov 1904 moved to Saco, MT.He was Saco's first physician.In 1914, Robert was elected as representative to the State Assembly.
In 1918, Butte, MT, Dr. Minnick enlisted for the medical service but was not sent to France due to the Armistice.
On 16 Jun 1910, Dodson, MT, Robert married Miss Evelyn Perkins, b. Oct 1885, Winterset, IA.Minnick child: Donald C., b. 20 Apr 1912.
