Luise Minning - Balkom Germany

Louise Minning my great-grandmother b 20 Jul 1867 in Balkom (near Ueffeln, Hannover) Germany, died 24 Mar 1946, at Andrew, IA (she was married to Henry Rommert from 1886 to 1945). Had a sister named Anna who married one of the many people named Herman Duhme [see the Duhme forum].

Siblings who did not emigrate from Germany: Heinrich Minning (1866-1928), Auguste Minning (b.~1867), Emma(?) nee Minning (b. ~1881 & was still living in 1954), and possibly others. (I have copies of obituaries in the 1920s and letters written to my grandmother during 1946-55 that partially identify these people.)

I'd like to learn more about their ancestry and their migration to America, interactions with the Duhme family that came from the same place and settled around Cincinnati OH, How did they end up in Jackson County IA later?

Thank you for any constructive information that surfaces from this.
