hi greg,
we are not related.
but pamela was very near and dear to me.
her mother, bonnie mae, died when pamela was very young. her father, edmund, was a pilot, and owned the first cap(civil air patrol) airport in the united states in utica michigan.
i looked briefly for my county history book, but could not find it. i have it somewhere, i have thousands of books, but it is a very large book.
dr. william minnock, 1790 something, married elizabeth yarington in richmond virginia. on feb 12, 1822, dr william minnock II, was born feb 12, 1822, died in texas nov 14, 1861, he is in the old cemetary. he married sofia ann felder(oct 6, 1826), and it is interesting if you closely examine the children of sofia!!!!
BE CAREFULL HERE !!!!(in what you may find)
i have some census records also, and maybe a will.
edmund j minnock was born nov 1850 or 1852 and married georgie b, ayers.
BE CAREFUL HERE TOO(in what you may find)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I DONT KNOW YOUR POLITICAL PARTY(i am a libertarian), but just in case you didnt know, bill clintons grandmother was an :
"ayers " .(i am talking about clintons real natural father!!!!!!)
after i found out the ayers connection, i did not persue this line, bet left alone!!!!
edmund j minnock and georgie ayers had william a minnock(jan 8, 1887-3/21/63).
william j minnock and effie mae putnam had jack edmund minnock (the pilot) on october 19, 1919, he died tragically on 9/20/90.
it is interesting that the minnocks, were all totally southern/confederate while the tackaburys were all yankee until jack edmund minnock.
i knew jack edmund minnock, and of course, his daughter pamela, a simply wonderful and very beautiful girl, who owns a dance theatrical company now, and she is still beautiful, and also doctor(well, sort of, a phd). pamela taught me how to water ski.
i cannot tell you how intelligent, beautiful, warm , kind, talented , charming, etc she is.
and still a friend after over 30 years to me.
the felders were doctors too. i always wondered what they taught them in medical school, how not to sterilize, how to bleed people to death, etc.....
that is what the doctors did back then, you know.
i wish i could find a diary of one of those old doctors and see how they treated their patients.
i can pass along your address to pamela when i get time, her birth day is coming up, maybe ill include it in a card to her.
gary
