*Ann MINOR b. 1760-1770, enum. 1840 with household (00101 - 0010000001 - 00), husband unknown;
*Andrew MINOR b. 1799-1800, enum. 1840 with household (0000001 - 000001 - 00), not found in 1850, enum. 1860 age 60 in household of Coleman MINOR (below), worked as a carpenter;
*Austin MINOR b. 1801-1802, enum. 1840 with household (000001 - 10001 - 0,23), enum. 1850 age 48 in household of Coleman MINOR (below), enum. 1860 age 58 in Richmond City with (second/?) wife Lucy age 37, worked as a grocer, d. Sep 1867, bur. Hollywood Cem. in Richmond;
*Martha "Patsy" MINOR b. 1809-1810, enum. 1850 age 50 in household of Coleman MINOR (below), may be wife of Andrew (above) or unmarried sister;
*Mary Ann MINOR b. 1809-1810, m.abt. 1835 to Thomas WHEELEY and moved with him to Richmond, where they operated a hotel and restaurant, enum. 1840 age 20-30, 1850 age 40, 1860 age 45 [sic], d. 14 Jul 1865, also bur. Hollywood Cem. in Richmond;
*Coleman MINOR b. 1819-1820, enum. 1850 age 30, 1860 age 40, worked as a farmer but held relatively little land (value $100 in 1850, $200 in 1860).
St. David’s Church is located in Aylett, in present-day Acquinton Magisterial District, which was at these dates an important port and commercial center on the Mattaponi River.There are several cemeteries in Aylett, none of which however has been inventoried online.
Coleman’s name suggests a connection with the MINOR family of neighboring King & Queen Co., many of whose members are bur. at Upper King & Queen Baptist in the town of Helmet VA.
