Sicily to Australia

The first ten Sicilian's from Capo'D Orlando ,Naso and Milazzo to arrive in Fremantle , boarded the Orient Steam Ship ORUBA at the port of Naples and arrived in Fremantle Australia 15 March 1908.
Some of the names, Vincenzo and Calogero MIRAGLIOTTA ( my great uncle and my grand father) two MINUTA brothers , CAMARDA, TRIPI , BASILE boy aged 12 yrs, other names unknown.
The Men all had family connection's, e.g' brothers , cousin , brother in law . There wife's and other family members ,followed 2 years latter on the Orient Steam Ship OSTERLEY out of Naples and landing in Fremantle 23 April 1910 . Calogero's wife Nunziata RAFFAELE and daughter Angela Miragliotta aged 18 monthe's , were on the Osterley accompanied by Nunziata's brother Calogero Raffaele.
The trip from Naples to Fremantle took 40 days and the fare was 333 lire per person .
