Earnest August Mischnick was born May 2, 1892 in Sterling, Nebraska. He was the son of August Ferdinand & Minnie Werner Mischnick, both born in Germany. He married Etta (Maynard) Harrison, but I am not sure when or where. She was the daughter of Waymon & Margaret (James) Maynard of Dekalb County, Tn. Her full name was Martha Etta, but later she is listed as Etta M. She married Sam Harrison Aug. 9, 1909 in Putnam County, Tn. Etta had three children I know of: Nina M. Harrison(1912-1913), Sam Jr. and Eugene. Ernest and Etta are in the 1930 Census and the sons aren't listed. I can't find Etta or her sons in 1920. Earnest died in Dec. 1976 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Etta's rock says only 1960. I am a grandaughter of Etta's sister, Ida. If you know anything of this family please contact me. Thanks!
