Hi,
I'm seeking info about my grandfather, Gunnard Thornblad. It is said that he came over on the boat from Sweden when he was 6-7 months old. He resided in Cloquet, for part of his life, and then moved to Moose Lake. He was born: June 11, 1886 in Sweden. He died: May 31, 1959 in Moose Lake, MN. Anyone remember him, or hear about him?
Am also seeking info re: my grandmother, Alice Claire. B: June 2o, 1916 (or 1918?). D: 1980 in Cloquet, Carlton Co., MN. Both Alice and Gunnard Thornblad resided in Cloquet. Alice lived there until she died.
At one point, my grandmother was also adopted. She then had her name changed to Dorothy Beamer.
