Mary: Still trying to figure this out. You stated you didn't know who Adam Brower was, yet in your posting 9 Sept.2000 you said that your Ruby was born to A.M. Brower in St. Michaels , Mn.in 1881. And there is an Adam M. Brower in Carlton Co.as late as1909.This is possibly the same Adam M. Brower. Did you note the Ruby in Carlton Co. was born in Aug of 1921. This is could actually be two generations between these two Rubys. The parents of the Ruby born in Carlton Co. were Vern Brower and Lindquist. Which Ruby is yourGrand mother or Great Grand Mother?
I think you have more ancestors /generations here than you realize. Have you seen your Grandmothers death record or an obituary to see who is listed as parents on it? Lets keep working on it . Can you trace your Browers back any farther than Minn.?
St. Michael is in (I think) Wright County and is just a little north west of Minneapolis, Betweeen Minneapolis and Monticello.County seat there is in Buffalo,Mn. If I get down there I will see what I can find. Janette
