My great grandparents were Pearly and Goldie Bliss of Cass Lake and Pennington. Their son, John was my grandfather. He was the first man to enlist in the military in Cass County after Pearl Harbor was bombed on Dec 7, 1941. I was told the newspapers covered his enlistment. Any information on this family would be appreciated.
