The name of the tuberculosis sanitarium was
Ah-Gwah-Ching. A local article says in part: "It was built in the early 1900s. From 1907 to 1962 it served as a state-operated tuberculosis sanitarium. Now it's a nursing home of last resort for mostly elderly Minnesotans with behavioral problems and severe mental illness."
I don't know if Ah-Gwah-Ching has any records available or not. You might give them a call, and it you do, please let us know if records are available. Thanks.
