Hi Arlene,
I'm checking with my sources as I seem to remember the name LLoyd Holmquist being mentioned by my relatives, who have roots in Chisago Cnty,MN, although not a direct line to my search. Have you tried this site,

It's another site I'm trying to locate relatives and info for Chisago and surrounding areas. I still have relatives in the town of Chisago, but unable to contact them at this time.

If I find some info for you, or some connection, I will contact you again.

My surnames are Carlson, Olson, Reed, Lans, Dahlberg, and I have some Johnsons in the branches in Chisago.
