Do you have any dates? Specific dates are best but even a range of birth of about a year or two or three and a range of dates for coming from Sweden of a year or two or three would perhaps make it possible to start looking for these people. These names are FAR too common to make it easy to find them otherwise. You can find a month and year of birth in the 1900 U.S. Federal Census and a year of immigration in the 1900-1910-1920-1930 censuses. You can estimate a year of birth through the ages provided on the federal censuses and also on the state censuses that Minnesota had. (Federal censuses were taken in years ending with 0 and the state censuses were taken in other years, usually in years ending with 5.) Many of us have found very useful information through the services of the wonderful archive called the Swenson Swedish Immigration Research Center. The Swenson Center has a website but its extensive collection of records is NOT online. We need to go there to research or pay someone to research for us. They have information which is difficult or even impossible to find elsewhere. http://www.augustana.edu/swenson/ Judy Notify Administrator about this message?
