I checked the Brainerd telephone book. There are two listings but the name is spelled Heikkenen. Do you think they could possibly be related? Also, I plan on visiting the dept of Veterans Affairs here in Brainerd to check to see if there was an honor roll for Crow Wing county for the WWI soldiers. Will take a day or so to check that out though.
