Edward Strom, died in Dakota 1955

I am interested in any information about Edward P Strom and his life and family in USA.

So far I know this: He was born in Straumen in Ibestad in Norway 07.07.1882. Died 09.16.1955 in the county of Dakota.
In the 1900 census in Norway his name is registred as Edvin Palmgren Eriksen, son of Erik Simon Nilsen b 1846 and Perolina Nilsen b 1849. I also have got a list over his siblings.
I belive Strom changed his name when he arrived USA/New York 17.04.1906 with the ship United States (in the Ellis Island records text search his name is written wrong, Edward Slronrm, but the original ship manifest says Edward Strømm)

All I know after his arrival to the USA is his death record.
