Does anyone have any information on the Eckman family from about 1880-1900? The head of the household was Hans P. Eckmann (which he later changed to Harry). He had a wife, Anna Hartwick, and eventually 4 children, Harry Jr., Anscil, Raymond and LLoyd.
I am particularly interested on his first years in America, around 1877....
He was from Denmark, and I am trying to locate the names of his parents. His father was from Sweden and his mother was from Denmark.
