I am doing research on Fauntie Jones Perry born c 1855 died 1947 and buried in Kasson, MN. She was the wife of Robert J. Perry born c 1840 and died c 1909 also buried in Kasson, MN. She was the daughter of Samuel Taylor Jones and Lois Prince Jones. My grandmother was named Fauntie Perry Serrette. Family rumor states that my grandmother was given to Fauntie Perry when she was born and lived with her until she was three years old. At that time her birthmother took her back from Fauntie Perry. My greatgrandmother told relatives that my grandmother never forgave her for taking her away from Fauntie Perry. I believe I have a photo of Fauntie Perry taken in Kassan, MN. Would like to compare notes with any of the Jones and Perry Family that lived in the Kassan area at that time regarding this family story.
