I am looking for any information on the family of Peter Joseph Kulzer and Gertrude Liezenfeldt. Peter was born Nov. 9 1809 in Frieden, Prussia. He died May 13 1896 in Owatonna, Steele County, Minnesota. Gertrude was born Sept. 14 1814 in Prussia, she died Nov. 26 1874 in Steele County, Minnesota. Her father may have been Johann Peter Liezenfeldt, her mother may have been Gertrude Granzer. Gertrude (Liezenfeldt) Kulzer was living in Ellington, Dodge County, Minnesota in 1870. Gertrude and Peter's children were Joseph (1847-1912), Andrew (1855-1902) and Gertrude (1858-?).
Andrew Kulzer was my g-g-grandpa. He was born 1855 in Prussia and died June 20 1902 in Owatonna, Steele County, Minnesota. He arrived in the US in 1857. He was married to Augusta Briese (1859-1950). He lived in Ellington, Dodge County, Minnesota during the 1870 and 1910 census. Andrew and Augusta's children were Joseph Peter (1878-1952), Annie (1887-?), Edward Jacob (1892-?), and Dewey Albert John (1898-1977).
Joseph Peter Kulzer was born Mar. 26 1878 in Claremont, Dodge County, Minnesota. He died July 1 1952 in Osceola, Polk County, Wisconsin. He was married to Jennie Emmajane Day (1884-1942). He lived in Ellington, Dodge County, Minnesota in 1900. He lived in New Prarie, Pope County, Minnesota in 1910. He lived in Farmington, Polk County, Wisconsin during 1920 and 1930. Joseph and Jennie's children were Edith Mable (1906-?), Fern Elizabeth (1907-1982), Joseph Peter [Joy] (1914-1960), Blanche A (1915-1993), Phyllis C (1917-?), Louise (1920-?), and Curtis Dewey (1925-1980).
