Wow that was fast! I just posted this afternoon. I'm not actually related to this line. Charles H. Sandon served with my gggrandfather Charles A. Brighton (alias Thomas Aufinsen) and I found several copies of letters written from Judge Sandon to my gggrandfather concerning his pension application. I thought someone in his family might like copies of my copies. Also, my gggrandfather had sent a photo of himself to the judge to identify himself, and I'm hoping the family still has the photo so we can get copies of it, as we only have one of him.
I will send my mailing address. Appearently the Judge's wife knew my gggrandfather as well, as she recognized the photo on question before Mr Sandon said anything to her about who he was. I believe her father Wm A. Fields was a Regiment Commander?
