"Som "Sam" Lomvilaisack, 35, of Jackson, died Monday, Aug. 2, 1993, at his home.
He was born June 4, 1958, in Savannakhet, Laos.
He attended school in Laos before moving to Thailand. He emigrated to the United States, settling at St. Cloud and later moving to Grand Island, Neb. He then moved to Sioux City, Neb., where he worked with Iowa Beef Packers for three years. He moved to Sioux Falls, S.D., where he worked with John Morrell Co. for five years before moving to Jackson this year. He worked with Caldwell Packing Co., Windom.
Surviving are his mother, Laos; and two brothers, Chanhsamone Inthavixay and Souvana Sibou, both of Jackson.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon and from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Sathe and Son Funeral Home, Jackson.
The service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Sathe and Son Funeral Home, Jackson, with Buddhist monks officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Jackson."
