I am currently trying to locate any information on Mary Gazdik. Per her obituary, she was born 25 Nov 1863 in Zamutov, Zemaplin, Hungary. She died 5 Dec 1941 in Jackson County, Minnesota, USA.

I am first of all trying to find out exactly where this city could be. I am not sure I am spelling it correctly.

I have found her last name to be spelled about... now 12 different ways, not knowing which is the correct one as her obituary has two different spellings in it.... go figure.

Per her obituary, she arrived to the Unite States around 1882. I have not been able to find her on any ships as of yet. She settled in Hazelton, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, USA area with her brother John. It would seem other siblings also arrived with her.

She married a John Micklos(b. 20 Jun 1861 in Cheklov, Hungary and d. 04 Jul 1954 in Jackson County, Minnesota, USA) about 1886 in Luzerne County. I have tried to get help from that county and their message board, but no one has contacted me as of yet. In about 1889, they moved and settled in the Jackson County, Minnesota, USA area.
