Attempting to locate the civil parish of birth of David Spence and Ellen (Elenore) Donahue.

Per his obituary, David Spence was said to have immigrated to the Philadelphia area in 1848. Per her obituary, Ellen Donahue was said to have immigrated to the Philadelphia area in Nov 1845. They were married 1 July 1849 in St. John the Baptist Church in Manayunk, PA. Witnesses were
Dennis Fahy or Farley and Anna Cret???.

The first 3 children were born in Manayunk or Roxborough:
Hannah Jane b. 5 Mar 1850
Robert James b. 11 Apr 1853
David Joseph b. 11 Oct 1856

About 1857 they moved to Tyrone Township, Le Sueur County, Minnesota. They also lived in Derrynane Township, Le Sueur County, MN.

Children born in MN:
John b. 10 June 1858
Mary Ellen b. 7 Nov 1862
Thomas b. abt. 1865
Agnes b. abt. 1869

The Minnesota Cemetery Inscription Index states that David Spence was born in County Waterford, Ireland and that Ellen Donahue was born in County Cork, Ireland.

Does anyone have any further information on where specifically they were born (civil or Catholic parish)? Names of their parents? Names of relatives and/or friends from their home in Ireland who also emigrated to the Philadelphia or Le Sueur County areas?

Thanks,
Jean
