Thanks for the offer. Maybe you can help me solve a "puzzlement". I have a 1919 obit from the Warren Sheaf for my ggrandmother, Mrs. Robert Porteous. She is buried in the family plot at Greenwood Cemetery. The obit spells her second name "Katheryn". We always knew her as Sarah Catherine DeWitt. In her first marriage to my ggrandfather, Henry C Webster it is spelled Catherine in the records. I wonder how it is dealt with on the headstone. Would burial permits indicate the locality in Indiana where she was born? I really appreciate this opportunity.
