I have a family biography written by Sarah LaBissionere/Verboncoeur that mentions Edward Bergeron, her cousin as Argyles first
shoemaker. Edward was a shoemaker in St. Paul until 1890/91 then disappears. Can anyone verify that he was a shoemaker in Argyle? His cousin lived in Middle River, but he doesn't appear on any of those census'
