Thank you so much for answering this so quickly with so much information. I contacted the historian in warren, and sent her my biography of A.D.Verboncoeur by Sarah Blanche LeFebvre. I am thrilled to know that E.W.Bergeron actually was a shoemaker in Argyle. The date of 1884 sends my search in another direction. Thanks to you, I know which way..I plan to order the book.
