Fairmont Diaries 1881 on

Just wanted to post a message about a site i have added to the internet, it is my ggg grandfathers diaries. He lived on Rose lake and the diaries start in 1881 and go until 1904. I have transcribed up to June 1885. In these diaries he talks about the people in the area, farming, weather etc. I also just added an index of names, as best I could anyway as Grandpa cross' spelling was almost as bad as mine!!
It makes for good reading as he writes everyday. He mentions all things that go on in the neighborhood and even mentions Imogene, Winnebago and East Chain. It seems that when someone new moved to the area, they would stay with William until their own house was built.
I hope this helps someone out their who are interested in the lives of their ancestors in Fairmont, Minnesota
Thanks, Robbi Hoy
