Hi Cindy,

I'm the husband to Jennifer (Schroeder) Schneider, and we too have recently begun developing our family tree. Johann Martin forester had a son John Louis Schroeder (1833-1901), and he had Lois Herman Schroeder (1903-1974), who had James David Schroeder(1946-), my wife's father.

Johann Martin and his wife Fredericka Giese came to Acoma after their son John Louis around 1969 (Johann died shortly afterwards). John Louis and his wife Wilhemina (1837-1921) came to Milwaukee first (1855), then later to Acoma as a part of the 1862 Homestead Act.
