Starting from the Northeast corner of the county, Winsted township is Township 117 North, Range 27 west. Hale is 117N, 28 west. Acoma township is 117 N 30 west. So, Lynn township is 116 N 30 west. This is the area southwest of Hutchinson.

I have plat maps (1898) of Winsted and Hale townships that identify the township and range. I got them from the McLeod County Historical Society in Hutchinson. I use the Delorme Minnesota Atlas and Gazetteer, availabe at Border, Barnes & Noble, etc. to identify the other townships.
