One of my co-workers was killed by a drunk driver this week. he was a nice young man- he should not be forgotten. as a genealogist i want to make sure his obituary got posted.

A service will be held at 3:33 p.m. June 27 at Wiefels and Son in Yucca Valley for Jeremy Vossen, who died June 21, 2008, in Desert Hot Springs after he was hit by a drunk driver. He was 34 years old.
The son of Debra Vossen and Kenneth Morton, he was born in Litchfield, Minn., on April 14, 1974.
He lived in California for 13 years and in Yucca Valley for 12 years.
Mr. Vossen was a musician; he also was a casino floor supervisor for seven years. He was a loving husband, father and friend who excelled on the guitar and drums.
He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Jennifer Vosssen, 6-year-old son Lux Corbijn Vossen and 2-year-old son Lennon Louis River Vossen, all of Yucca Valley, mother Debra (Vossen) Powers of Mounds, Minn., father Kenneth Morton of Richmond, Minn., stepfathers Neal Frisch of Brooklyn, Minn., and James Powers of Mounds, Minn., sister Lisa King of Blaine, Minn., brother Craig Frisch of San Bernardino, half-sisters Shaundra Morton and Madison Dietrich-Frisch, half-brothers Brandon Morton and Brett Morton and stepsisters Alyson Powers and Vanessa Powers, all of Minnesota.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to one’s own favorite charity or to the Jeremy Vossen Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo; donations will go into a college fund for Lux and Lennon.
