You might be very lucky with the clue that you had,
In Telemark fylke (county) in southern Norway, on the 1865 census, there is a parish spelled Bø, also spelled Bøe, and at that parish is a main farm area called/spelled Svendsø.
Svendsø from (fra) Bø.
If you go to familysearch.org and put in Marthe Halvorsdatter then born 1819 but with a plus or minus of 2 years, then choose Norway from the drop down menu, you can find her, b. 1818 it says, with parents
Marte <HALVORSDATTER>
