Sometime between 1875 and 1880, Nelson Sheldon applied at the St. Cloud Land Office for 40 acres in Wright County and 120 acres in Hubbard County. The issue date for Wright County was March 5th,1880 and for Hubbard County, June 30, 1880. I have the source info for the property, but what happened to Nelson?
In 1875 records show that Nelson is living at a boarding house in Minneapolis. Now I've lost all trace of him, can someone help me find my great-grandfather? Nelson was born in Petersburg, Michigan around 1852/53. Thanks.
