The following appeared in a North Carolina newspaper Watauga Democrat August 4, 1904
"Miss Bina Greene, daughter of the late Judge Greene of Watauga, was married in Washington City on July 15, to Mr. Frank Manderfield of Minn, who holds a lucrative position in the Treasury Department. Miss Bina has been in Washington for several years and held a position with the Census Bureau. The Democrat and her host of friends in Watauga extend congratulations."
