My daughter married a Gotlander in 2002.

The Swedes in Minneapolis have the American Swedish Institute (ASI) in Minneapolis. That's where I study Swedish.

The Norwegians seemed to mostly had have Sons of Norway (which is where I studied Norwegian)

What did his 1918 information say about him? Address? Job?

Or perhaps post that at Hennepin county.

Also for Norway, depending on where he was from within Norway, there were different Lags for different areas of Norway. Sogn og Fjordane Lag, Trønder Lag, Hedemarken Lag.
