Soo...you know both swedish and norwegian! That must be unusual? How come you are so interested in the nordic languages?
The information from 1918 about Carl from the alien reg. is:
Full name of Alien Registrant: Carl Anton Erickson.
Street Address, Postoffice Box or R.F.D.Route: 2-30th Ave.S.E.
Village, City or Town: Minneapolis, Minnesota.
In the alien reg. it says he worked as a machinist. On the reg. card from 1917 it says he worked as a machinist at the Midland Linseed Oil Co.
