Sherrie Gray gave you some good Minnesota/ St. Louis county information. I would like to look in Norway. Gjerdrum is a municipality in Norway, and a farm name, so it's hard to tell where Randine/Randina took that name from. Is there any hint as to what her father's name was? Was she ever known by another "maiden name" or patronym. Your information says she was from Christiana Norway, which is today's Oslo. How did you get that information, were there other hints with that? She would probably have emigrated from Oslo/Christiania/Kristiania then.

One census record says he is born in June 1873. How do you know it is Bergen? Any other hints of that, parish mentioned? relatives? That might give me something to look for. He should have emigrated from the port of Bergen then. His first name could have other spellings too, Kristoffer, Christofer, etc.

You should send for those births of the kids from the Minnesota birth index. The birth index is here:

the birth records aren't that expensive.

The Iron Range Research Center ironrangeresearchcenter.org
specializes in genealogy information for that area of Minnesota. Maybe they can help you with records.
