Hi my name is Valerie and I am looking for any help with my Fletcher family. I don't have a lot of information on Joseph Fletcher no date of birth or name of his wife. But he came to the US in the 1800's He had a son William that was born in 1825 that on the 1850 US census said he was born in Hamilton England. But a note on family history from my grandfather said he was born in the US. William married in 1850 to a Alsamena Waffle born 1830 New York but maybe New England. William and his family migrated to Northfield Rice County Minnasota in 1855. William and Alsamena had 5 children and I have some information on the family in Minnesota. I am really looking for information on Williams parents and when they came to the US and were they lived. I can't find Williams Marriage to Alsamena but they are on the 1850 New York census as married. I know this is asking a lot with such little information but heres hopping. Look forward to hearing from anyone and thanks for reading. I appreciate your looking.
