I am trying to find out anything about my Great Grandparents Walfred August Anderson & Mildred Thunstrom. He was born in Mason, WI in 1894 & I think Mildred was born about 1900 in Isanti County. He had an Uncle Emanuel Anderson that was living in Isanti County. He did spend some time in Isanti County.....In about 1916 (?) he married Mildred at the South Isanti Baptist Church parsonage. He filled out his WWI Draft Registration forms in Cambridge and he worked delivering gas for E P Fredeen.
They had one child, Arline Anderson, born on 2/21/1917. I believe both Mildred & Arline attended Cambridge Schools but I am not sure. Mildred died on 4/6/1917 a few weeks after the birth of Arline. We believe that Walfred did serve in WWI and that Mildred's parents, August & Hulda Thunstrom, helped raise her while he was serving and while he worked in lumber camps in WI & in Cook County MN.
