Searching for information and descendents of
Mathais Breen, b.?, Ireland;d. 1890, St.Paul;
m.Ann Howard; several children incl Ann Elizabeth, b.St.Paul 1876; Mathais was an important builder and contractor in stone and built several important buildings in St. Paul
in the 1870s and '80s. Family lore has it that he built a famous stone bridge over the Mississippi--it MAY be the Stone Arch Bridge.
