I worked in the Export Department of Brown & Bigelow in the late 1940s. They were located on University Avenue and manufactured various types of advertising mementoes: pin-up girl calendars, ballpoint pens, various desk articles, etc., etc. The President was one Charlie Ward, a legendary millionaire and megalomaniac about whom many stories circulated.
