Hi

I have just found my James McDougall (that was who I suspected of being married to Lida)in the Scottish Census records of 1901.

The trouble is the ages dont seem to match, my James was 19 in 1901. This would have made him 38 in 1920

I am wondering if there were any age restrictions on Immigration which could have made him claim to be younger?

Any ideas?
