Hello! I am searching for information on Judge Dole. He would have been my nephew's paternal grandfather but we have very little information on him except that he was murdered in or around 1964 and his widow, who is now deceased, refused to talk about him during her lifetime. Judge Dole fathered at least 3 sons and possible 1 daughter while married. I am not certain this Judge Dole from Adair, Missouri is the Dole I am looking for but his birth and death dates are correct. I am interested in birth records, marriage records and of course his death record and any information concerning his death. I am led to understand that Judge Dole may have been involved in criminal activity at the time of his death. If anyone from Adair could help me with this I would be happy to assist in any searches required in or near Rockford, Illinois. My Nephew's are interested in knowing their family history and I desire to present them with a family tree and history for Christmas this year. Thanks, Susan
