Hi there.

I have many relatives buried in St. Mary's cemetery in Adair, MO. I am assuming they were parishioners as well.

I am wondering if anyone knows where the marriage records would have gone for this parish after it was closed. I am looking for marriages happening in the early 1870s.

Are there newspaper archives I could search from out of state (I'm in Oregon)that might list marriages or obituaries?

I've done about as much as I can using censuses alone. Now I'm in completely uncharted territory for me.

OK you master genealogists...teach me :)
