Thank you very much for the information. I will contact the author of "Gone But Not Forgotten" altho' $60 is a fairly hefty price.
In the meantime, I would appreciate any other information about David and his children that you have access to. I have death information for only two of David and Lydia's children -
Arthur Beverly GORDON - d: 20 December 1948 in Atchison Co. His wife Amanda RAMSEY GORDON died in 1939. And of course now I have info for Hugh CAUDLE and Thirza.
David and Lydia had a child named Jessie (female I think) about whom I know nothing. She may have died before they left Ohio.
Their son Nelson Clay GORDON seems to have gone off to Alaska about 1900 and I have not found anything about him after that date.
Daughters Mary A (born abt 1861) and Ida (born abt 1865) may or may not have made it to Atchison Co; or they may have died. I can't seem to find them.
Daughter Elsie Irene married Wheeler DONAHUE, probably in Atchison Co. But I have lost track of them as well.
Perhaps some of these children will show up in the cemetery.
