Tom, I checked my information on the McKillop family which isn't much and did not find a Peter. My connection with the McKillop family is through my (4)greatgrandmother Mary Jane McKillop who married Harley Thurber. Their daughter, Mary Jane, married Jacob Russell. Their daughter, Carrie, then married, possibly her cousin, Malcolm McKillop. I believe the first Mary Jane's father was Arichbald McKillop and her mother Janet McMillan but cannot say for sure. I have that Mary Jane was born on the Isle of Arann in Scotland. Harley's birthplace has been claimed as Scotland, Canada and U.S. so am not sure about him. There is a bit of confusion on his Thurber line. There is a DNA study going on to try and figure it all out. Sorry I couldn't help you more on Peter. It is possible that Peter and Malcolm were related by I can't say for sure.
