You actually helped me very much. I e-mailed Elaine Davis as you suggested, and she found an obituary listing with a death date for a J.H. Parker of Nemah Co. NE, formerly of Atchison Co. MO. John Parker had land bordering the Missouri river which divides Atchison Co. and Nemah Co. NE. The book didn't have the complete obit but she directed me to a lady who will go to the library and get me a complete copy of the obit. I'm pretty sure this is the info I have been seeking for the last 15 years. Thank you sooooo much for your help.
