Hi Tammy,

Thank you for your response.

You aroused my curosity with the so many of the same surnames and so I checked every one of the PIERCE surnamed of my husbands family that were in Barton co., MO and they seemed to be accounted for.

But I just don't have enough on his SMITH families so who knows!!!

I was just amazed that all of the surnames you mentioned are the surnames that enter my husbands families in the same general area.
